Come by my studio to see a variety of charcoal drawings from 3 different series.
Last week, I went down to my hometown of Houston, TX to create my first commissioned art bike. The project started off a little rocky, as I had planned for the paint to adhere to the titanium frame much better than it did. I finally figured out the ideal solution, rustoleum and enamel paint. The project took endless prep work (taping, cleaning, sanding, etc.) and about 10 hours of hand painting. Overall, I'm over-the-moon excited about the end result! I look forward to doing more projects like this in the near future. I can't wait to see the owner of this bike ride it in his next race!
I recently welcomed THAT NEW NEW into my loft in Bushwick, BK to share my inspiration, and some of my work in progress. I'm truly honored to be the first of this amazing series. Click on the photo below to watch the video.
